COM4000   Advanced Bioengineering Research Project   (60 credits)

Description

Students will learn how to undertake a defined laboratory-based research project. Students will learn essential laboratory techniques, design experiments, record data and critically interpret their findings. They will be assigned to an academic supervisor whom they will meet with regularly. They will learn about standard operating procedures, safety and CoSHH regulations. Students will be expected to identify a defined published literature on the research topic undertaken and conduct experiments and evaluate their data in light of published findings.
